Amos has an employee, Amy, who was unimaginably rude and obnoxious to my son and daughter-in-law when they were waiting at the hospital to get the paperwork necessary to cremate their child. Needless to say they were very distraught and had already waited an inordinate amount of time to receive the necessary paperwork the hospital had ordered hours earlier. When my son asked that Amy take care of it while she was still on the phone with him she gave a snarky answer and he snapped back (rightfully so). She responded "Well, you can always go someplace else." That response was unnecessary and hurtful.

They r very warm and caring

If I could give them 0 stars I would. After reading the other ratings, they are much better at dealing with those that are grieving animals. My story is regarding a human.

Thanks is sometimes not enough- but thank you, Parker.

Our family lost mom's husband, my husband's dad and our children's grand pa suddenly three weeks ago tomorrow. This journey one is never wholly prepared for, but a natural part of living, has been supported by so many. Parker at Amos Funeral home became a breath of fresh air, a beacon of hope that all was okay. He supported all of us and the role we each needed to play to honor dad. It was a fine veteran send off!

I had my little female dog (Teacup) cremated at their Pet Companion Crematory and the compassion that I was treated with was above and beyond any I have ever witnessed! I plan to make arrangements for my male (Tiny Tim) for future services.

Great people to work with that have a real compassion for family, community and the professional services they provide. Highly recommended - not five stars but ten!

They had to go to the funeral home to pick up the cremains. Amy did not apologize but rather was short and nasty with them when they got there.

The paperwork was finally sent to the hospital and delivered immediately. It was signed and sent back right away.

The Lloyd Van Horn Family

They treat an animal cremation just as they would human customers

Warm and compassionate and explains all the choices a person has with urns and other memorable items

One would think, in that line of work, a company would only hire those with the utmost sympathy, if not empathy, for those they obviously must deal with. Shame on you Amos for hiring someone not qualified to deal with a grieving public. Just shame on you.
