I just moved into the area and visited this store for the first time. Walking in I noticed right away the monkey in the cage. I had a bad feeling about this place afterwards. A monkey should not be kept in these living conditions with no socialization let alone a pet store in general. I walked around some more and then noticed puppies, each alone in unfit cages. Each cage has only wire flooring with no bedding/soft area for the puppies to lay down. I saw some tried so hard to lay on their only toy for that was the only soft thing available in the cage. I asked the employee if they take them out of the cage and one said no. It saddens me that these animals are not socialized nor have any playtime at this young of age. The asking price is very high per pet making me think that these puppies come from a puppy mill environment. After witnessing these standards, I left this store right away. I will not be giving any of my money this terrible pet store. I would not recommend this store to anyone and I am shocked to see the poor reviews of this place years ago and they are still in business. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
This place was AWFUL. The customer service was just horrific. You walk and no one there says hi to you, or if they could help you with anything. Not to mention the poor dogs are in a cage, with no bed what so ever. We were looking at the dogs and no one offered to say if we wanted to see a puppy. Their the type of owners who cherry pick people. They don't care about your experience or what you want, they just want money in their pocket. Not to mention the monkey in the cage, terrible.
Great service and selection. Their small animals are healthy and friendly. Prices are reasonable and I checked a few things against Amazon to find similar prices. We bought two rats from here that have had no health issues and are doing great.
Great store but some employees have misleading info if you have questions. Made me buy 2 bags of sand for a turtle $30 total. Told me to dump them in water first and after put my turtle in (soft shell turtle). FYI water got Murky and couldn't see turtle so i decided to go to pet smart and they just laughed when I told them. They suggested I buy small soft Pebbles instead worked great and very happy with their help!
Love this store great selection of products and who doesn't like to see a live monkey play. I been coming here for 20yrs and just introduced by nephew to the place for the first time. He is 2.5yrs old he was scared but fascinated with the monkey.
